5 Months

Wow!! It's hard to believe that Katelyn is already 5 months old. Time is just flying by and we are having so much fun!!

In the last month she has really turned from an infant into a baby. She has started to roll both directions, thankfully she doesn't roll in circles yet. :) She has also started to pull her knees up under her when having tummy time. She hasn't figured out that to really crawl she needs to have the hands and the knees pushing up at the same time. I think on her next update I will say that she is crawling. Glad the house is already pretty much baby proof.

Her other favorite thing to do while laying on her back is to throw her feet down on the floor. She just loves the sound and some times it sends her inching backward. One time she moved across the entire carpet in the living room.

She is also starting to figure out hand-eye coordination. She will now reach for your face as your holding her or reach out for things she sees. Her favorite is to reach our for Boomer and get kisses from him. She also started bouncing this month. So we are borrowing a bouncer from Auntie Ang and she is loving it. She still doesn't like to sit, wants to be laying down or standing up.

I guess the theme for the last month has been that she LOVES to move.
