Floors: Part 1

So we planned on ripping up the floor in one night, but that was not the case. We didn't finish it partly because we didn't start until 9:15 pm and it was really loud, so we only gave it until 10 pm. That was fine, Ry got it out the next night in about 2 hours. He's a rock star!! There is no way I could rip up that floor.

We spent the next day and a half installing the plywood underlayment. I think we both hope not to see a drill and screw for a long time. Here is what my hand looked like after drilling in screws for about an hour.

The plywood was the prep for an underlayment mat called ditra. Here is what it looks like all down.
