After the major set back and my dad helping me, we finally got to putting the floor back together for good. :)
After my dad left on Friday my brother-in-law Brian came over to help Ry and I get all the cement board down so that we could finally start tiling. On Friday we were able to get all the cement board down in the kitchen and about half of the laundry room. So Brian came back over Saturday morning to help us finish up the board and he even stayed to help us tile. Ang and the kids even came over to "help" too. :) It was good for Austin to come by and see Auntie Suz working happily. We set up a system for tiling. Ry mixed the thinset, Brian back buttered the tiles and I set the thinset on the floor and set all of the tiles. On Saturday we were able to get all the full pieces of tile down in the kitchen before we had to stop for the evening. On Sunday Brian came back over again and we got the rest of the tile down (except for a few pieces in the laundry room that needed to be cut).

Tile down and looking good:

(my dad let me borrow his laser line to draw our lines. It actually came in very handy since we were doing a brick pattern. When we needed it, we turned it back on to make sure a tile was in line with the rest. Best part about the laser was that it didn't matter where we had thinset on the floor because the line showed on the thinset. THANKS DAD!)
Final Product!!!!

THANK YOU Brian for helping us to lay all of that tile!!!! We could not have gotten it done as quickly as we did without you!
